Schuylerville High School, Section 2

 

William Schutz coached at Schulerville HS for twenty-eight years. His squads won over 300 games. He led his teams to seven league, three Section II, sectional, and two Regional championships. His 1977-78 team won the State title. He served as Athletic Director for Schuylerville CSD, where he helped develop the girls program. Basketball officials, the Village and County governments, the State Assembly, the Governor’s Office and the NYS Sportswriters Association, have honored him.
