New York State Outstanding Referee Nomination Criteria

 

1. Longevity (20 %)

How long has this person officiated basketball in New York State.

 

2. Contributions to their Chapter (20 %)

Provide information to show that this person has contributed to the well being of their chapter through leadership and or work.

 

3. Professionalism (20%)

Provide evidence that they demonstrate professionalism in their officiating work. This can be work as a mentor and role model.

 

4. Provide the approximate number of games (20%) or regularity that this person

officiated Sectional, Regional, State Semi-finals, and State final games. (If a college referee, officiated league playoff games, and post-season games.)

 

5. Honors: (20 %)

Provide a list of any honors, recognition or awards that this person has received.
