Schenectady Linton High School, Section 2

 

Coach Walt Przybylo’s teams won nearly 75% of the games they played. He died at the young age of 49, but in nineteen seasons his teams won 270 games. At one point his teams won 46 games in a row. They won several Inter-sectional titles prior to the re-starting of the state tournament. He started the Schenectady Holiday Festival, which hosted powerful out of area high school teams. His ’69-’70 team finished 22-0, ranked # 1 in the state. He is a member of the Schenectady City School District Hall of Fame and the SUNY Cortland Hall of Fame.
