Wally Bachman directed the Varsity Basketball programs at Valley Stream North High School and Jericho High School for 36 years. He has won 406 games. He has led his Jericho teams to 6 Nassau County titles, 1 Long Island Championship and 8 conference titles. Wally has served as President of the Nassau County Basketball Coaches Association. He is presently the Section 8 Basketball coordinator for Nassau County. He has been involved with the Empire State games as well as Exceptional Senior Games. He has been the Director of the Top 100 Basketball program in Nassau County. He has been named Coach of the Year many times and has been inducted into the Jericho High School Hall of Fame. He has also been selected as All Long Island Coach of the Year in 2013. Wally has been the Athletic Director at Camp Pontiac in New York for the past 22 years.
