Hamilton College

 

As Head Coach at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, Murphy lands in the top 10Active Coaches in Division III Basketball. His 1990-91 team was the No.1 ranked team in the final NCAA Division III Poll and they finished the season with a 26-4 overall record. He was named the National Association of Basketball Coaches' "Coach of the Year for Division III" in 1978-79 and 1990-91. He also coached at Bellville (NY) High School where his '" teams registered a national record 83 consecutive victories.
