Bob coached at Jefferson CC for 27 years, winning 359 games. He earned Region III Coach of the Year Honors in 1982 and 1990. Serving in leadership roles in Region III of the NJCAA, Bob was instrumental in the development of the Mid-State Athletic Conference. During his coaching career, he was honored by various organizations. While at Jefferson, three of his players earned All-American honors. As a player, Bob was named to the NJCAA Basketball All-American First Team in 1961. Coach Williams is member of the inaugural class '09 of the Jefferson CC Athletic Hall of Fame.
