Canisius HS, Canisius College, Buffalo Braves, Boston Celtics, New Jersey Nets

 

Coach Bob MacKinnon led Canisius HS to Western NY high school championships in 1956 and 1957. He coached Canisius College to the National Invitation Tournament finals. He coached the St. Louis Spirits (ABA), the New Jersey Nets and the Buffalo Braves. He was a member of the NIT Committee and NCAA All-American Selection Committee. He founded the Canisius College Camp and Erie County Summer league. He earned many Coach of the Year honors He is a member of the Canisius College, Buffalo Public Schools Harvard Cup and Greater Buffalo Halls of Fame. He was also named the Canisius College Coach of the Century.
