Coach Cerrone is the winningest girls basketball coach in Nassau County history with a record of 356 wins and 88 losses. In his 21 year career at Farmingdale High School, his teams won 15 Conference, 5 County, and 2 Long Island Championships. He was the founder and served as the First President of the Nassau County Girls Basketball Coaches Association. He coached Empire State Games and All Star teams. He is a member of the Farmingdale School District Sports Hall of Fame.
