Coach DelVal coached for 38 years in Westchester County at Woodlands HS, Alexander Hamilton HS, and Rye HS. His teams won 514 games and he was the 1st Westchester Basketball Coach to win 500 games. His teams won 17 League, 9 Section 1, 3 Regional, and 3 Class D State Championships. His 1988 team finished undefeated. He was named Coach of the Year numerous times by various media and organizations. He is a member of the Westchester County Sports Hall of Fame.
