Peekskill High School, Section 1

 

Coach Lou Panzanaro has led his teams to 409 wins. His teams win 75% of their games. He coached Peekskill to eight Section 1 crowns and four Regionaltitles. He is the only coach in NYS Public High School history to win three state titles in three different classes. He has served as President of Westchester Putnam Basketball Coaches Association. He founded the Red Devil Basketball Camp and along with Elton Brand started Camp, Inc. to provide free tutoring to all Peekskill public school students. He has been named Coach of the Year numerous times. He was also named Club Man of the Year by the Rotary and Elks Club. He was a Frank McGuire Award winner.
