Coach Lawrence Byrnes teams won 577 games. He led his Collegiate School teams to 461 wins over 34 years. His teams won 75% of their games. He served as the Boys Basketball Coordinator of the NYSAISAA basketball championships. He worked at and ran basketball camps for over twenty years. He was a high school and collegiate referee for twenty years. He was named Coach of the Year six times by the NY Daily News. He is a member of the New York City Ivy Hall of Fame.
