Coach Kevin McCarthy coached high school and college teams to 434 wins. In sixteen seasons at SUNY Cobleskill his teams won 74 percent of their games. He led his team to several league and regional titles. His team played in National Junior College Final Four twice. His Cobleskill teams posted fourteen consecutive 20 plus win seasons. Coach McCarthy started and worked at many camps. He was named Coach of the Yearby the League, Region and BCANY. He was bestowed by the National Association of Collegiate Basketball Coaches the prestigious “Guardian of the Game” Pillar Award. He also received the NJCAA Ethics, Integrity and Service Award.
