John Kuhn has coached the Red Hook Lady Raiders for over thirty years. He was the first girls’ basketball coach in New York State to reach 500 wins. His teams have won 19 Division, 14 League, and 10 Sectional championships. The Lady Raiders reached the Final Four and were NYS Class B Championship Finalists in 1998. He has served on and chaired numerous League, Section IX, State, and Federation committees. He has organized and worked many basketball camps and youth programs; he also directs the Town of Red Hook’s recreation program.
