NYC Catholic, All Hallows High School

 

Coach John Carey mentored his team to 460 wins in 42 seasons. In addition to coaching high school teams he also had assistant coaching stints at the US Merchant Marine Academy and Fairfield University. Coach Carey won several Coach of the Year honors. He is a member the Catholic High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame and the All Hallows HS Hall of Fame. He directed the Shamrock Basketball Camp for 20 years
