Lapchick coached St. John's University and the New York Knick'. He spent twenty seasons with St. Johns compiling a 334-120 record that included four prestigious NIT championships. As the Knicks’ coach, Lapchick coached nine seasons and posted a 326-247 mark including three trips to the NBA finals.
