Coach Jerry Hourihan was at the helm for twenty-seven years at Canton HS. He led his teams to 339 wins, including eleven Sectional and two Northern League titles. He served as the Sectional basketball chairman for eleven years. He was a member of the original state basketball tournament committee. He has garnered numerous Coach of the Year awards. A legendary coach in northern New York, he is a member of theCanton HS and the St. Lawrence CS Halls of Fame.
