Lawrence Woodmore Academy

 

Coach Jeff Weiss has led his teams at Lawrence Woodmere Academy to over 400 wins, 14 league championships and 5 NYS Association of Independent School titles since 1988. Coach Weiss guided LWA to Federation Championships in 1999 and 2002. He has been named league Coach of the Year 12 times, BCANY section Coach of the Year 6 times, and was named Newsday Long Island Coach of the Year in 2006. Coach Weiss serves as a member of the BCANY Board of Directors. In recognition of his 300th win, the basketball court at LWA was renamed in his honor.
