Jack Cahill, 1997

Jack was an active official for over 30 years and served as Secretary/Treasurer of Board 36 for over 30 years. Jack also served as President and Secretary of NYSPHSAA Basketball Officials Association. In 1984 Jack Cahill was named as the 46th President of the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials. Jack is well known for being the individual responsible for negotiating the agreement in New York State between the Boards of the IAABO and the NYSPHSAA in the 1950's.
