Malverne High School, Section 8

 

Under Coach Hank Williams, Malverne HS won over twenty Conference, four Regional, and nine Nassau County titles. He guided his teams to over 450 wins in his twenty–seven year coaching career. His teams won the State Championships in 1979 and 1981. He served on the New York State Committee on Boys’ Basketball and was the Nassau County Boys’ Basketball Coordinator. He was a tutor, mentor, leader and role model for his players. The Malverne HS Gymnasium is named in Hank’s memory.
