Bishop Kearney High School, Section 5

 

In forty years of coaching, Ed Nietopski’s teams have won over 520 games while coaching at Brockport HS, Cardinal Mooney HS and Bishop Kearney HS. His teams won five Diocesan and five Catholic League championships. Additionally they won five Sectional titles, reaching the state Final Four three times. He is a member of the Section V and National High School Athletic Coaches Association Hall’s of Fame and the SUNY Brockport Hall of Heritage. The facility at his school is named the Ed Nietopski Gym in his honor.
