U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, LaSalle Academy (NYC)

 

Dan Buckley coached eleven years at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy achieving a 126 + 62 slate. Previously he coached at LaSalle Academy in New York City for twenty-two years, notching 462 wins. He led LaSalle to thirteen championships. LaSalle was declared “National Catholic Champions” in 1967. His honors include NABC Award and the U.S.M.M.A. Sue McNulty Award for the Academy’s Outstanding Teacher. Coach Buckley is a member of the following Halls of Fame: LaSalle Academy, Brooklyn Old Timers, U.S.M.M.A., Catholic HS AA, and New York City.
