Coach Stuart Dean led his teams to 567 wins over his 34 years of coaching at Lansing High School, with a .783 winning percentage. His teams won 22 Divisional titles, 14 League Championships, 2 Section IV Titles and in 2001 his Girls Varsity team won the NYS Class C Championship with a 27-1 record. Dean also served as the Head Coach for the Scholastic Girls Central Region Empire State team for 2 years, winning silver and gold medals. He also served as the Girl’s Basketball League Coordinator for Section IV for 14 years. Dean was a 2 time Ithaca Journal Coach of the Year and was the NYS Class C coach of the year in 2001. He has been inducted into the Ithaca, Lansing and Section IV Hall of Fame
