Windsor H.S., Section IV

In 28 years, Coach Vail directed his teams to 423 wins (.687).  His squads won 3 Section IV Class B Championships, 14 Division or Association Championships and 17 tournaments.  He spoke at several clinics and directed or served on staff of many camps including Golden Valley, UNC, and Binghamton University.  He started & operated Youth Basketball Programs, served as Susquenango Assoc. Secretary & Section IV League Representative.  He was recognized as Coach of the Year 10 different times & his team earned 12 Sportsmanship Awards.  He is a member of the Windsor Central School’s Knights of Distinction, Section IV and NYS Athletic Administrators’ Halls of Fame.
