Bill was the distinctive “Voice” of the Boys State Basketball Tournament for 26 years and
serves Section 2 Tournament and Regional games similarly. A career educator, he was solely
responsible for editing and producing the official Program for the Boys State Basketball
Tournament from 1992 – 2013. His service has included membership on the State
Tournament and Section 2 basketball committees, and he has coordinated score-table
assignments and recruitment for both for over 20 years. Bill is a member of the South Glens
Falls Bulldog Hall of Fame, and has been honored with the BCANY Service Award, the Section
2 Dutch Howlan Memorial Award, and the New York State Athletic Administrators Association
Award for service.
