During thirty-six years of coaching, Coach Granby’s teams have won over 590 games. Coach Granby has won more games than any other coach in the New York City Public League history. He led his teams to twenty-one Divisional Championships and six Queens Championships. He was a co-coach of the New York City Empire State team, which won eight straight Gold Medals. He is a member of the Brooklyn USA Hall of Fame and has received the Pro Am Achievement Award. He is a living legend in the basketball community.
