Sackets Harbor High School, Section 3

 

Coach Charles Bridge, Jr. guided his teams to 376 wins in twenty-seven seasons. His teams have won 19 Frontier League Championships and appeared in the Sectionals Finals 11 times winning 4 Championships. He served on the Frontier League and Section 3 Basketball Committee for 17 years. Charlie received numerous Coach of the Year Awards and his teams regularly won Sportsmanship Awards. He founded the popular Sackets harbor Shot Doctor Camp and started local youth programs and tournaments. He has worked many basketball camps. Charlie was involved with Coaches vs. Cancer Fund Raisers for numerous years.  He is a member of the Section 3 Basketball Hall of Fame and the court at Sackets Harbor HS is named the Charles Bridge Jr. Court.
