Beaver River High School, Section 3

 

Coach Bob Giordano guided his teams to 416 wins in a career that stretched from 1957 to 1990. His teams won 12 regular season and 6 Section III titles. He has been a guest speaker at camps and clinics. Bob was captain of the Colgate basketball team in 1957 and his son was captain of the Colgate team in 1982. (first in Colgate history) He is a member of the Bishop MaGinn HS and Section III Halls of Fame. The Beaver River HS gym is named in his honor.
